"[My granddaughter] flew by herself round-trip to meet us in Arizona. She didn’t want us to go into the airport with her. I’m so proud of her confidence, and I feel [TRAC-KC] is responsible for a lot of this."

"I thought I'd might reach out and state that I got my drivers license today. That [Learner's Permit] program really paid off. Thank you for your time to teach me and my friends the ways of the road. I will keep you posted on my new to me chevy Silverado 1500 LS. Once again thank you."

"Getting involved with TRAC-KC has been such a wonderful decision. I first learned about TRAC-KC through my time working at an Independent Living Center in the Kansas City, Kansas area. As soon as I met with Rachel Denning I knew it was an organization I wanted to be involved with and promote! TRAC-KC was kind enough to let me join and help with many awesome events such as their Brunch and Bingo Fundraiser, Life Skills Classes, and Murder Mystery Dinner.
My favorite part of working with TRAC-KC has been helping with the Life Skills Classes. This experience holds its place in my mind, due to the care and passion that Rachel Denning has shown in constructing and teaching the lessons to her young adults. Through each class, not only did the kids learn new skills but improve upon the ones they already have. Life Skills classes provide such valuable lessons and it has been an honor to get to know the students who participate in each of them. Some of the awesome skills that I have got to be a part of include learning how to uber, preparing and peeling vegetables, and making easy and effective recipes.
You can see just how influential TRAC-KC has been to the community that they work with based off of the engagement continued by so many volunteers and supporters. It is such a valuable impact to Kansas City and those who have gotten to experience working with them."

[My daugher] had always found comfort in routine. From an early age, [my daughter] found change overwhelming. But when she was introduced to TRAC-KC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young adults transition into Life, her world expanded in the most beautiful way. Rachel, TRAC-KC’s founder, has a warm smile and a soothing voice, immediately making [my daugher] feel at ease. With Rachel’s patient guidance, [my daughter] has learned a wide range of skills. From life skills, like cooking and grocery shopping to learning to drive. Rachel understood [my daughter’s] unique strengths and challenges, always adapting lessons to fit her needs. Through TRAC-KC, [my daughter] found more than just new skills—she found confidence, independence, and a deeper connection and understanding of the world. And thanks to TRAC-KC and Rachel’s unwavering support, [my daughter] discovered that sometimes, the most wonderful experiences come from stepping into the unknown. What once felt overwhelming became an opportunity for growth, proving that with the right support, [my daughter] can thrive.
